A life-long love of sewing inspired Alys Griffin to leave behind a career in sales and librarianship and establish Plush, a company that produces a range of immaculate soft furnishings and fabric bags.

These days she successfully combines sewing with family life, making anything from curtains and blinds to cushions and bespoke chair covers from her home in Mylor Bridge.

The seaside location gives plenty of inspiration when it comes to choosing colours and designs for the range of stylish beach bags for which she is now especially well-known.
